Jumpers for Goalposts

#J4G is a community led movement that encourages men of all backgrounds, age, ethnicity and ability to come together and play an old-school game of ball.  Here are some guidelines to organising a game.

  1. Find a patch of grass big enough for a game.
  2. Get yourself a ball and four jumpers for goalposts.

  3. Line players up and get two captains to pick teams.
  4. Introduce yourselves to each other.
  5. Players volunteer to go in goals (rotate).
  6. No need for officials, players run game themselves.
  7. Half-time is when players need a break.
  8. Remember #J4G is a non-competitive game of ball.
  9. When it's time to finish up, call next goal the winner.

  10. Take pictures and video testimonials of the day and send to  info@jumpersforgoalposts.ie.
